Nachiket was the son of a religious man called Vrijvavas who was basically a Brahman…. He was angry on his son due to some reason and donated all the property…. One day his innocent son asked “you have donated all the property so to whom will you donate me”…. His father got angry and said he will donate him to Yamraaj… After hearing this innocent Nachiket leaves home and starts searching Yamraaj and starts taking out his name…. Yamraaj cannot go in front of alive person but to save Nachiket’s life he goes in front of him… Nachiket asks him to take him with him,… Yamraaj denies and Nachiket starts blackmailing him…. In the end Yamraaj has to take him to yamlok to save his life… Nachiket was the first person who went to yamlok alive. As he was so sincerely following his father’s instruction Yamraaj became happy and decides to give him 3 vardaan. When Nachiket was asking his wishes he showed his cleverness due to which he became very famous on which a granth was also written on him called Kadhopanishad…..
